I, like most xtra users were waiting for the sudden spike in speed on April 1st. didn’t happen. Like many others, im getting the same speed as when the plan was 2mbps?

So i managed to get through to the help desk, and the surprisingly honest guy tested my link to the exchange said it aint going to get any better any time soon, until they upgrade the exchange. So I asked if there was a similar plan with a down speed of 2mbps, surprise surprise. No plan.

xtra adventure: 3.5mbps down
                       128kbps up

eden terrace: Av speed 1850kbps

Id love to get out of the telecom contract….

They only increased the maximum speed you can download at to 3.5Mbps. Doesnt mean you will get 3.5, just thats its possible to get that speed instead of being limited to no more than 2Mbps
