To all The Comunity

I have been making some research regarding Free to Air TV via Satellite and i have also found that some decoders not only decode TV signals  but they also decode radio mp3 videos and DATA.

I dont know how true is this but i want to ask here because i dont know the answer to it Can you decode VDSL or ADSL form the Satellites too and get it for Free.

I have worked before with "backbone" technology using protocols 1033 for Voice and at some extent even Internet

If this is posible we are now in the edge of a major crackdown for the  big fellas becuase now ITS FREE!

thanks

If it was possible than it would probably already have been done.

So I am guessing it is not possible.

A) nobody provides VDSL in New Zealand, unless of course ive missed something huge.
B) DSL signal is sent over copper wires and does not come via satellite. So no its not possible to decode VDSL or ADSL from satellite

In full agreement, not to mention that you would NEED something to UPLOAD data.

exactly. What good is downloading data that you didnt request.

If you could download a data stream that wasnt yours, your PC wouldnt know what to do with it, and even if it did, it would be like wtaching the neighbours TV - whatever they view, is all you could view.

Very strange post.

In this sense, there is no such thing as free broadband.

Free broadband is me hacking my neighbours unsecured AP and nailing his data cap. But of course I wouldn't do that.
