I can not get access to broadband, even though they have access to it 4 mins down the road and telecom has no plans to extend out an exchange this way any time soon they say.

I am considering getting wireless but a little cautious with the high set up and monthly costs.  I play alot of internet gaming in particular World of Warcraft.  During week nights and not much taking place in the game i can play on dial up with little annoyance, however during busy periods and raiding in game i just can not play and have to go to friends to use their broadband connection.

Would wireless be any good?  I hear that wireless had bad latency, but considering all i have is dial up as the other option I just want to know if its bearable?  I plan to raid alot on line with World of warcraft and use Ventrillo at the same time, would hate to spend all that up front to find out its not going to any good for my uses.

Any advice would be much appreciated
