after asking Woosh some questions through email about Quicksilver and their plans i was informed by one of their staff that my modem has been connecting to a base station iver 10km away instead of one a couple of 100 metres away. I continued to ask how this could happen and how to fix it...didnt work. next day i was personally emailed by their staff asking if it was ok to send a technician free of charge to fix this problem i have. just got a call to confirm my time for tomorrow. any one else have helpful services from woosh? i guess they got their act together

U get a lot of that on this forum…that gets me talking really

Hi there, this is my first post so should probably introduce meself... been with Woosh for 6 months or so...not as geeky as id like to be

I must say i have had some appalling service to start with from their sales unit, took two weeks to receive my equipment yaadi yaada, however, have loved every bit of their tech helpdesk ever since....considering their not so reliable network and periodic outages, i have received nothing but exceptional customer service from their helpdesk...those guys bend over their backs to help you when can....

reading other posts from people here who have been dished heaps of free stuff and credits etc by woosh in an attempt to get their act together n in acknowledgement to the say the least (again) for their not so reliable network; I think oosh deserve's some credit and not the usual blithering... try asking when was the last time telecom dished out a free stuff to their moma.... give some credit where due, wouldnt hurt much and stop bein self centered prick in the pretext of i am not receiving "the service i am paying for" etc crap....amazes how some moaners since past one year are still stuck with Woosh…if their service isnt good enough, y don’t u take the highway to Telecom and likes of it??

And then there are those usual counselors on this site, providing emotional counseling to the regular moaners rather than providing practical solutions...

give as much constructive criticism and feedback where due and credit as well where due...Give them a break. Don’t sweat the small stuff....

Hopefully this forum is used for more constructive discussions than petty discussion on how someone got some free stuff out and i certainly wouldn’t loose my sleep over termination fee etc..... i think I would best benefit cost benefit analysis (with an eye for free stuff) if I stayed with my moma not paying a cent for nothing...so as the site is designed for, lets stick to constructive discussions and not defeat the purpose of this forum...

I would be keen to know others (aside counsellors on this forum) fair experiences with woosh service….lets get it cracking people… peace>>

oh yeah and he said that if i want to switch from Wireless to ADSL i should just yell out and ill get it.

I think woosh deserves a clap! *claps outloud* Laughing great customer care

It's good to hear satisfied people for a change. We have to admit that some ISP's forget what the s in ISP stands for service, most seem to believe we are privileged to use their equipment because we pay. There's a little more to any successful business than just that. Well, at least I like to think so.
Anyway Thomas, what did the tech do? put a big reflector behind your antenna? ;-)
