kiwits: so if i get this right telecom owns slingshot or the other way round

neither is true!! and Slingshlt owning Telecom New Zealand??? BWAHAHA

...at the moment thinking i should had gone with orcon as so many or my friend gone that way now

So you think you should have gone with Orcon?

but gave orcon a go first

But you just made out like you should have but didnt?>??

my rating for xtra is 95/100 as i setup adsl connect with them no problem to date ..would i join them ..thinking .but gave orcon a go first

Who would rate an ISP at 95% and then not use them because "i will give orcon a go first" ??

BBSes are still alive, both telnet and dialup... go looking and you will find...
