Have you tried calling up Woosh and request that from them? Technically they should provide you the drivers and supports. Since you paid the services from them, so why not utilise them?

You don't need it unless you are needing support, You can just install a driver (not formware) and then make a "new dialup connection" in windows XP and connect "to a broadband modem using a username and password, this is often referred to as a PPPoE connection"

And *99# as the dailup number. Woosh will send out a CD to the new owner.

I fail to see the point in anyone buying Woosh modems on Trade Me as Woosh will still charge you the $99 to 'activate' the modem.

as mentioned above, if you are selling it and the new buyer bought it and get it connected to Woosh, Woosh then will have to send the software CD to them as legally they are the new customer. As for your part you don't have to provide the CD.

You failed to mention that you are no longer a Woosh customer, hence my reply to you to contact Woosh for help.

*grrr ungrateful man*

tottaly happy for help thank you, about selling it on trade me the person that buys it doesnt have to go on a 12month contract with them for thier free modem, so if they buy of me then they can kill the service when ever :)

It's my understanding that new Woosh customers must accept a 12 month contract irrespective of whether they provide their own hardware. Can anyone confirm or deny?
