Using Speedtest.net can you guys and ladies post your broadband speeds and your ISP and what plan you are on.
Just interested in the average speed New Zealanders get. 

My result using Slingshots $90 a month naked unlimited

Because house wiring has a greater influence in speed than the wire on the road...

Not many, but without factoring that in, your results are close to pointless. In addition, gear, distance to exchanges etc...

So how is anyone supposed to make sense of these numbers? There's no sense because Speedtest are always slowed down by the weakest link - which doesn't seem to be my ISP here.
