How do you understand the Service Availability Tool from Chorus? I searched up my address and according to the website I was right in the middle with only adsl 2+(pinkish colour). All the surrounding neighbourhood had VDSL2. (Green colour) Does this mean that my surrounding neighbourhood have vdsl2 and i don't?

The tool is a rough guide, you're best to submit an order for VSDL and wait for your ISP to see whether you get rejected or not.

My old house for example was an ADSL2+ island in a neighborhood which all had VDSL, however now the map has been updated and shows it's included despite no new cabinets being upgraded recently.

Pick an ISP which offers VDSL and signup :)
