Is anyone on it?
Is so, whats the poerformance like? what is your general area/location.

do you recommend it?

IF you havent seen already, I've had shocking performance issues etc from Slingshot and am looking at an alternative provider.

There is some info in this thread on gpforums, however the first two pages of the thread have lots of speculation and trolling about how their website fell over when they first launched the plan, plus a few comments that historically they don't seem to have a great track record at customer service.

Only one person who's actually on the plan posted.. at first he had some problems but they were actually to do with his line (line fault) apparently he hasn't had any problems since that was fixed and Compass seemed to handle it fine customer service wise.

Here's link to the 3rd page with the guy who's on it last posts

Maxnet also have a unlimited plan, more expensive than Slingshot or Compass but in theory should have better performance.

Also being vigorously discussed over at gpforums

I'm thinking about signing up to the waiting list for the Maxnet plan but haven't decided for sure yet.

Going from Slingshot to Compass? At least you're not moving down, only sideways.

Hi, I strongly recommend you get all relevant information in writing from compass (rather than rely on verbal assurances from staff) before you consider signing up. I'm currently waiting for compass to confirm they were unable to provide the services, they did however manage to send me a bill for those services.
