HI

I would like to know if there is any way to tell if your line has been upgraded to the new speeds?
I have never got 3.5Mbs and understand why that might be but would like to know if my line has been ugraded so i can keep a eye on the speeds etc etc.

thanks

Best way to check line speeds is to log into your modems control panel and check the line speeds.
If you've changed plans and it shows the new plans in your usage meter, try restarting your modem.

You'll see something like this (if you're using a Xtra branded 302g):

That should give you the connection rates.

Only if you're very close to your exchange and your line is of reasonable quality... it may be higher than what you're normally (under the 2mbps or 3.5mbps regrime) getting.
