For those of you with phones plugged in all the time - Vodafone has released an app with the Imperatial College London to use smartphone power for similar number crunching.

Check Vodafone DreamLab.

Geektastic:

iMac Pro, Intel Xeon W 3GHz 10 core, 64GB RAM and 4TB of SSD.

Nice. You should be able to crunch some numbers with that bad boy.

I've been into DC crunching for many years on different projects and have recently started up again.

I've switched to this team to keep things local, I'll admit to being of pomgolian origin but that was 10 years ago and my passport says I'm a Kiwi now :)

I'm crunching Rosetta on an i7 3770k at 4Ghz and a Ryzen 5 3600 that hasn't been overclocked yet. (still waiting for better cooling)

Folding is being done on an RTX2060 super.

I'm just starting to get a regular supply of work, it has been a bit patchy over the last few weeks  :)

Welcome to the team - and straight to the top of the leaderboard.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I get to do some stomping on folding, I think my previous score stays with my old team ;)

you can tell the ones runing CPU vs GPU by the number of work units completed and the points per work unit.

The averages are a lot lower than the predicted points per day by im guessing about 30%, an i suspect thats to do with it being quite hard to get and return workunits. though it seems to have been a little better over the past day or so.

@freitasm why does the editor show a perfectly formatted table but then when i submit its a formatting mess, and the preview looks fine too?

Because my code strips out tables - these don't work well (might do some work this later in a month or so).

Plenty of Rosetta work for my CPU's but very little Folding work for my GPU. I think I have had three in the last 24 hours and they get done in about an hour. I had to get the heater on last night!

As I mentioned earlier I'm using a GTX2060 super. The last couple of units have taken 2:20 so they are as variable as CPU units.

I'm up to 2,280,000 credit already, it took me 15 years to get to 44m with my old team .

with your 2060 super that should only take a couple of months. you must be sitting at an estimated 1-1.3 millions points per day.

I've seen above 1.5M ppd in FAHcontrol but I'm not getting enough work to break 500,000 ppd.
