the os gets slow when plugged in and it suddenly one afternoon when it needed charge. The night before I was installing a game so it was on all night and i made the sleep when plugged in never

Have a look at the power settings, check that you haven't reduced max cpu usage to 5% or something when plugged in. Type power into the start menu search and click the obvious.
