Interested in how you avoid copy and paste though. On PC I just copy and paste user / password to where it needs to be. On Android I did get the auto typing working once, but it hasn't worked lately - I probably need to enable it or something.

On PC I have a browser open and at the login page with cursor in the username field. I flick over to KeePass, type the first few letters of the website's name to jump to that entry, press Ctrl-V and KeePass shifts focus back to the browser sends the username + tab + password + enter. For me, integration with a browser and (on a phone) apps is really key to making using a password manager (relatively) hassle-free; that's why, when iOS finally allowed access to external password managers it was a damn good day. Equally it's why I'm finding using LastPass on my phone (a OnePlus 6) so incredibly frustrating, as it's resorted once again to removing accesses granted to the app (so fill-in stops functioning).

Copying and pasting passwords is a dog - but not as frustrating as typing in randomly-generated passwords into devices like TVs for SVOD etc! I wish more services used the Amazon Prime-type log-ins, which allow you to enter a code into the app or their website, rather than require entering the full details.

The other thing that's made them so much easier to use (on the phone at least) is fingerprint security - no longer the need to type the master password or enter a passcode.

I've used 1Password for 10ish years, love it, no issues. Great feature set added over time.

We use LastPass at work, and I really don't find it all that user friendly for the Enterprise product. It doesn't help the price has gone up a huge amount since LogMeIn acquired it. I currently use 1Password, but am looking to move to BitWarden when that expires.

KeePassHTTP auto-fills logins for you. No need for copy/paste. If you have multiple logins for a given URL saved, it will give you these in a drop down just like the Chrome password manager would.

Avoid lastpass, Their response to security issues is horrible which says enough about them. Currently using 1password for work and home, Dashlane looks ok but hasn't been through the ringer yet so would tread with caution. Whatever manager you use make sure you keep upto date with any CVE's for it/security news

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

Very happy with Bitwarden (https://bitwarden.com) which has a good mobile App and browser plugin. Can also be hosted locally if cloud storage is a concern. Great features on the free version, including sharing between two users.

Another vote for Bitwarden. Has excellent integration into iOS to the point that most apps will autofill from Bitwarden (and this is in addition to autofill support in Safari which is also very seamless). I also use the Firefox plugin which works well too.

I use the LastPass free account as does everything I need vs the paid versions. There are heaps of password manager options but some don't support Mac whereas LastPass supports Mac, Windows and Android.

I'm been using Myki for the last few months and it works great.
Browser plugins and mobile apps, and your data isn't stored in the cloud, it's all done on your smartphone and that syncs to your browser via the plugin.

I've used Lastpass for 3-4 years, but will switch wehn my sub runs out. The old story, an upgrade that killed it.

The user interface used to be quick and easy. I could log into a site with 3 clicks. NOw they have buried the sites below a series of menus, and it takes 5-6 clicks to open a stie. Sure, you can add favourites, but that ends up being al of the sites.
