deadlyllama: As others have said AIOs are a pain to repair. They're basically laptops in an odd case.
That's true. For the people I've bought AIO or recommended AIO, the form factor saved me time compared to the random support issues previously associated with cables and dongles and monitor settings in a discrete component setup. All were ex-lease, meaning the premium for AIO was not a practical issue.

Which the M1/2 Macs are… I would definitely not buy an Intel Mac now though; will have no resale value to speak of in 18 months or so
