I can't find a 5800G easily - they all seeem to be 5800X.  But as suggested by a person on the thread

https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-5700G-16-Thread-Processor/dp/B091J3NYVF

This looks quite good but I guess I am going to have to find a cooler for it

That was me before, didn't think about you not having a dedicated GPU lol
My Bad

The 5800G is an OEM part so i wouldnt bother hunting for.
As suggested the 5600G and 5700G are your top options

That amazon link to the 5700G you listed comes with a stock cooler fyi "‎AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Wraith Stealth Cooler".

Edit:

Good price on that CPU imo, stock cooler will be fine but apparently can be a bit louder than some of the 3rd party fans.

If you dont want to fluff around with Amazon and shipping cheapest current price is $359 NZD with the last lowest price in the past 2 years being $299.00 in October 2023.

If you have any remaining budget replacing your ram could be something worth while for you while it is still available and cheap,
this stuff is faster than your stock when you enable "X.M.P" in your bios and should be the max frequency your Mother Board can accept.

Thanks. The Amazon link has free shipping so it's a pretty good deal. And  I am going to see if I can get more RAM but need to check if I have enough slots.

It will likely be worth getting rid of your old ram and just installing a 2x16gb kit. Combining old and new ram gets complicated.

I think your motherboard only has 2 x slots for ddr4 ram.
It would be best to replace your old ram imo.
If it has 4 slots it would clock down to your original ram which is running at stock speeds.

That was what I was thinking also since RAM is cheap enough

This stuff okay?

Check in your bios whether you can enable XMP for your current ram before deciding to purchase new ram.

If your current sticks can be set to run at 3200MT/s, then it's probably not worth the expense of upgrading.

The RAM is to increase from 16 to 32GB given working with 4K files, less focus on the speed.

And yes the motherboard has XMP - https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-A320M-S2H-rev-1x/sp#sp
"Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules".

BUT

Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2667*/2400/2133 MHz memory modules

So it needs to be like the link above 3200 MHz.

If you wanted to consolidate your systems into one, I've stumbled upon this motherboard that has a PCI (!) slot on a modern AMD (AM4) platform.

https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-A520M-C-microATX-Commercial-Motherboard/dp/B0979QCJXK

Could be an option, paired with a 5700G?
