gehenna: It's a unit!
The speakers are G560's and they're excellent. The sub is very punchy and clean, and the virtual surround sound is the best I've heard out of a 2.1 speaker setup.

Just trying my luck again - still hoping one of you guys has a CoD Black Ops Cold War code and wants to swap it for my Watchdogs Legion code. I wanna shoot dudes more than hack stuff :D
Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

I'm still hoping against hope I get mine in the next 20 days, and if I do I will definitely swap :)
DimasikTurbo: Any owners of 3070 here? What PSU do you have?
I have 620w bronze PSU and run i9-9900 + 1080gtx in my PC. I figured 3080 is not an option for my current PSU and CPU, but wondering would 3070 work or not?
I have an EVGA 750 G2. Just received my Asus 3070 TUF today. No issues.
3080 Ti rumored to be arriving in January along with 3050 variants. nVidia seems to have been testing many configs in response to the beating they took from AMD, and are supposedly going back to a 20GB 3080 Ti but with the same 10,496 cores as a 3090. It is said to have the same 320W TGP as a 3080 and also the same 320 bit bus width, not 384 bit of the 3090. But at US$999 nVidia dollars (around US$1299 actual dollars), it would effectively kill the 3090. Sure that would annoy a lot of people but that's vintage nVidia and I can totally see them doing this lol.
The 3070 Ti urban legends are less clear at this stage, but 3060 Ti 8GB launching December 2nd.
So coming out in January and orders fulfilled in June, if the last couple months are anything to go by.

GDDR6X is far too expensive for Nvidia to offer a 20GB card at $999. I expect US$1,100-1,200 for FE and US$1,200-1,300 for AIB cards - that is if you can find one in stock before March next year.
This will slot in between the 3080 and 3090, so for NZ it will be ~$2,200-2,400. 3090s will fall in price to $3,000.

The only reason for the card's release is to be more competitive with AMD's top tier. So especially considering AIB markup, in no universe can nVidia have MSRP more than the $999 6900XT which already outperforms a 3090 in many cases.

If Nvidia releases a 3080 16GB to go toe-to-toe with the 6900XT then yes I would agree about the US$999 price. But Nvidia isn't going to give away another 4GBs of GDDR6X given the expense and the short supply, with the only supplier being Micron. AIB partners' margins are already being cut to the bone, so Nvidia will have to take the hit, or delay the card until later (IMO Q2 2021) when costs can be pushed down.
While I expect the 6900XT to be better in rasterization, Ampere still hold a major advantage in DLSS and ray tracing. Gamers who buy these cards want the full ray tracing experience in time for CP2077, and I'm not sure if 6900XT will deliver that without DLSS.
Another thing to consider is if RDNA2 also experiences a 'paper launch' like Ampere did. There are rumours already of low stock levels with UK & Aussie retailers, so if the 6900XT can't be found anywhere then Nvidia will have more headroom to up the price. Great value doesn't matter if there's no stock for months on end.
Smix:I recently built with a 5700xt and will be definitely upgrading once the new cards come out. I'm eagerly awaiting to see what AMD's response is...I've seen a few reddit posts speculating that Nvidia caught wind of what AMD were up to, which could explain why there's such a massive performance increase between the 20XX and 30XX cards.
Unfortunately I think this is going to cripple the secondhand market!
I don' t know about that.....
