I'm just waiting to see what local pricing looks like - importing one is looking to be around the $1150-1350 ball park, so I'm hoping that local prices will roughly reflect that.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

They've pulled it now - not listed at all. Maybe they weren't allowed to list it yet?

Looking at the us cost, the founders Ed is probably going to cost up near a grand, the norm models will be at the price of the 980 I reckon.

American pricing has it at undiscounted 970 price :(

That's correct but over here in NZ you also need to take account for 15% GST, shipping, custom fee and wholesaler & retailer mark ups.

From what my local supplier 1080 with everything above added will be at $1300 price range.

Yep - with better performance than a Titan X which was almost 2 grand.

I think the 1070 will be more than enough for almost all 1080p gaming, the 1080 will be for 4k (ironically)

Been told by computer lounge that the 1070 with be around $1099

The GTX1070 will likely be priced between $999.95 and $1099.95 in New Zealand.
Most GTX980Ti cards are already listed below cost, so it is unlikely that the price will be reduced further.
There may be the odd special, but you’ll have to keep an eye on our mailer.

Regards,
