has anyone who has provisioned the workaround hack gone back to normal settings yet? And? Working? Back to business as usual?
I am a wee bit reluctant trying to disable the workaround.

Steve, looking for some decals for decorating the offices at Openhost? The ZOZO Living business is up and running again, I think

I have one of my sites back to normal settings (www.podcastermusic.org), and yes, it's all working fine now.

u shouldn't be using an nz domain name host in the first place. you should use godaddy or enom because they are usa based and if something major happened like this in the usa you can gaurantee they will get bad press and most of their customers are there. i don't think they would care about customers in little old new zealand. and nz web hosts give very small bandwidth and memory. with godaddy shared servers you get 2000GB of bandwidth and 500gb of memory for under nz$20 a month compared to nz web hosts who give you about 1gb of bandwidth for the same price.

And USA hosting providers can be very unreliable too. If you actually used 500GB of diskspace you would get booted off, as they have in their terms, that your website must be suitable for a shared server environment, and a website that uses that amount of resouces will be hogging the whole server. eg. an actual servers diskdrive isn't even 500GB in size. This is called OVERSELLING, and the reason NZ hosts don't do this, is because it is probably misleading under NZ laws. US hosts can do it, becuase they have different laws from NZ

I would recommend getting a .nz domain too, as you wouldn't have had the problem with a NZ domain name.

well they can get a usa dedicated server then because it costs about nz$250 a month and comes with 250gb of hard drive space and 2500gb of bandwidth. still more features than any nz web host.
