I think I'm going down a rabbit hole...
Anyway...any suggestions/advice on where to get custom keycaps done. Shipping is a killer for the likes of WASD Keyboards.

I hear good things about KBDfans and they have free worldwide shipping I think https://kbdfans.cn/
I have purchased keycaps off Massdrop (now called Drop) but the caps and shipping were not cheap. I just really wanted that particular style.
I haven't been following this thread but I saw this just now and thought it might be of interest here:

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Just keycaps. Cant justify another keyboard so soon after purchasing one. WASD seem to offer a good service where you can custom print an image or have text printed onto a key in various positions. Something like that is perfect for what I want. In the first instance I just want a red escape key with nope written on it. In the future I might go for more.
I am still awaiting the arrival of my Leopold.
Annoyingly they didn't have the lovely beige and green edition I originally ordered as it seemingly went out of stock during the process, so I have ordered the plain and deliciously-retro version.
Of course, I will now be looking for either red or green keycaps to add to it.
Its all about the switch.
Cherry MX Browns here :D. Blues are loud, but feel nice.
Also the Mac Keyboards break. Gah.

Ordered mine with Browns...agree I would have liked Blues but coworkers may have been driven to murder...
My descent into madness has begun.
I received my Leopold and it is a thing of much joy - genuinely brings a tiny lift to the tedious working day to type on it.
Inevitably I am now intending to build my first custom board and my order from KBDFans has now shipped.
I am starting with a Hot Swap board (am going to have to relearn to solder at some point I guess) and am building a 60% Tofu Case with Brass plate and Cherry MX Browns (and some MX Clears for the space bar...)
Am looking into Key Caps currently, still undecided but must be Double-shot.
I may have also pre-ordered some Zealios switches to try those...
:/
What are your guys thought on kailh speed silver? So far the only board I've seen with that switch here in NZ is the keyboard from hyper x. Is there any keyboard out there that has that switch? Corsair and their cherry mx silver is hella expensive >_<
My first build is done!
Tofu 60 kit from KBDFans with hot-swap and brass plate.
Switches are Zealios V2 65g (highly recommended) and the Miami Keycaps are Tai-Hao which I got locally from PlayTech.
I *may* also have some additional “Nuclear Data” caps on order from PimpmyKeyboard...

Can't help you as to what they are like i'm afraid! Your best bet may be to build your own board if you really wanted them. You could probably get some samples from KBDFans first?
So I have swapped my Miami for the Nuclear Data set and I have another case and a set of 67g Zealios on the way...
Anyone know a good custom cable maker in NZ?
Currently use the Outemu Blue Switches which was avail through PBTech https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/KEYCLM7401/Cooler-Master-CK350-RGB-Outemu-Blue-Switch-Mechani
Been in and out of Mech keebs (MX Clears, MX browns, MX blues, MX reds, MX blacks w/ O-rings, Gatreon browns, various Kailh switches etc.) but found needed a better full sized one for work. I take calls and attend meetings and TBH the Outemu Blues aren't as loud as I'd thought. MX blacks w/ O-rings were my guilty pleasure.
Very good for long typing sessions - membranes and chiclets become pretty horrible if you have a habit of bottoming out and typing for prolonged sessions. Actuation force and feel on the Outemu Blue's are pretty decent far as things come. Never have an issue with clients hearing me typing and if they do - damn I will sure as hell let them know I enjoy it.
Ditching my Corsair K70 mk.2 SE as it doesn't fit with my new minimalist build, stands out like a sore thumb.
Purchased the Ducky one 2 SF (65%) with Cherry blues from Playtech and some custom key caps to fit the color scheme.
