Thanks, Bitwarden Authenticator looks like a non-enshittified Authy.  Now if only there was an easy way to transfer all the Authy stuff across...

Are there any issues with setting up the same 2FA token on two or more authenticators? So you have a backup authenticator.

Not sure how many sites, if any, would let you set up more than one authenticator at a time.

Theres not, but, you can see the seed in Bitwarden so can transfer it if needed unlike Authy. If you use the password manager for it then auto fill will also fill the 2FA key for you which is super handy.

You can. You just have to do it manually. There was some sites I set up in 2FAS app and in keepass. You just put the keys in manually In Both. Only one can confirm it though. But the numbers should match anyway.

I hate the new Auth for Android layout. It used to be easy to order the stuff I used frequently to be available to be front and center from opening. Now everything requires me to search.

Interesting... personally, I much prefer the new layout - I found the previous one difficult to identify the account I wanted, and find it so much quicker to search (as it typically only needs 2-3 characters).

Yup, thus my enshittification comment.  Previously the auth I used 99% of the time was first, now it's way down the bottom somewhere and the one that always gets chosen is some rando one I use maybe once a year.  And then they've got a grid of giant icons that cut off the name (which can't be edited) after the first few characters, so if your auth naming is "$sitename $systemname" then what gets displayed is $sitename, $sitename, $sitename, $sitename, $sitename, $sitename and you have to tap each one to see what it really is.

I'm sure someone got a nice bonus for this braindamage.

For one website I have a 2FA setup in both Authy and Google Authenticator, and they both display the same key each time it refreshes. I think I scanned the QR code into both apps at the same time when I set it up.
