What software do you use to Edit videos?
Not all video editing software will make use of a video cards GPU and some will only work with a particular brand or model range.
Not all video editing / rendering software make good use of multi core CPUs. If this is the case for the software you use, you maybe better off looking for a CPU that has a high single thread speed rather than lots of cores.
