Twalknz72:

As a side note am I missing something, he's not been able to download the indiana Jones game. We've registered the card, made sure to have an NVIDIA account but there doesn't seem to be an option to download, just the graphics settings?

Step 1)

Ger Redemption code from PBTech for the Brand of card you bought.

https://www.pbtech.co.nz/NVIDIA-Indiana-Jones-Bundle-Redemption

Step 2)

To redeem your promotional code for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ you must have the NVIDIA app and a Steam account.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Install your qualified graphics card.
  2. Update or install the latest version of the NVIDIA app.
  3. Open and log in to the NVIDIA app.
  4. Go to “REDEEM”.
  5. Enter your bundle code from your qualifying bundle purchase.
  6. Follow the remaining instructions on screen to sign in through your Steam account.
  7. Select “REDEEM” to redeem Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ to your Steam account.

Twalknz72: He's not attached to his case, it's just the one that came with the prebuild. Is there a big difference between cases, other than the obvious size (full-form factor)?

Yes there is a big difference in cases, they typically fall into 4 categories in no specific order...

  1. Airflow focused
  2. noise focused
  3. Aesthetics focused
  4. size focused

A good resource if you want to understand this would be Gamers Nexus on youtube, they do extensive testing and focus on the airflow side.

TL;DR yes cases matter they are what allow the PC components to operate in their temp windows and some cases should never have left the factory.

Thank you again

don't get a full tower, they are heavy and a waste of space, and if you are asking, not suitable for you. there are may shapes and sizes for mid tower, different features (DVD drive slot, HDD slots, GPU length, AIO length, etc) find the one that suits. mid tower.
