I ordered the Dell aw3423dwf yesterday as my secondary monitor is having issues turning back on after the PC sleeps, so ill do some monitor juggling in the house to stay with my UW-QHD and QHD at my desk and the other PC's can have different ones.

Still from all reviews is a great monitor.

It is a great monitor, it still amazes me how smooth it is. I just wish they did the 38" in QD-OLED.

Been thinking of ordering one - especially after Dell NZ told me they have no plans to sell the new 4k AW3225QF here (boooo!) but I would be using it for a mix of work and games. I know it will be great for the latter, but feedback on its productivity capabilities seem poor, especially around text rendering.

I currently have a Gigabyte 4k M32U so text and work look great, but I want the better games and HDR performance of the Dell....

How have you found it for non-gaming stuff?

I know you quoted someone else, but I can give some perpesctive from a homelabber that once used it for work.

Two browsers side by side work very well for homelab stuff, much better then 1920*1080.

I recently used it for work, plugged it into my work laptop with the included USB-C to DP cable, and I could comfortably edit an excel worksheet while referencing another sheet and a PDF (so the screen split in three ways horizontally).

My old desktop monitors are now my work monitors and are some old 27" 1080p TN panels and the AW3423DWF is significantly better then them.

Also, scaling is at 100%.

If you have to get the latest 4k 240hz, it looks like the dual mode 1080/480 LG 32GS95UE is in stock at PB at a hefty premium :o

I recently became aware of the MSI 34" 1440P monitor and it was $500 off at Pbtech so I snatched it.

I am pretty impressed thus far, text quality is 'good' enough, which considering how picky I am about this, is pretty good. It's a gen 2.5 panel, and given gen 3 panels don't come in 240hz 1440p ultrawide config, was the closest thing to ideal I could find.
