Trying to connect to my NAS I bought of trademe this one
(http://www.storagenewsletter.com/news/systems/acer-aspire-easystore-server)

Doesn't show up in router homepage but was able to find a utility to find it which constantly freezes none stop
(http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/storage/aeasystore.html)

The IP it gave me was 192.168.0.11 but when i tried to connect via the easy search utility it would fail to connect also tried in browser to no avail.

also ran the troubleshoot when it failed said that my computer seemed to be configured right but the device might be the cause.... =/

Yup I've tried resetting it with the little reset button at the back. also it seems the ip its showing for the NAS on this utility might be out of my ip range?

On my router

Status: Enabled
Range: 192.168.1.64 ? 192.168.1.253
Allocated 15
Remaining 175
Timeout 1440 minutes

Nope i tried "Admin" and "admin" the first 2 times aswell.

Now I've hit another snag Ive set up the NAS but i cant access shared folders or map a drive it askes me to fill in my credentials which i do but keeps saying access denied and sometimes bring up the message

"Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again"

Never mind have solved the issue but man so much work guess its a learning curve haha
