Hey everyone,

I am having an issue with my PC. I randomly get these pink looking dot all over my screen. My computer then seems to freeze. It has happened 3 times now. The second time it happened, screen went black and then normal. I then got the NVIDIA display driver crashed.

Here is what it looks like:

I initially thought it might be overheating but after checking my temps, it seems to be cruising fine at 40-50 degrees.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has an idea as to what this might be?

If not overheating, then memory corruption - still under warranty ?

Over the years have had several graphics card fail - issues like you describe generally get worse and then complete failure -my experience has been that graphic cards generally fail before most other system components- how old is it?

It is an EVGA GTX 560 SC. Only about 2 months old. It doesn't seem to have happened again since my post, but it is certainly concerning.

One thing to note is that about an hour before I installed a Happauge 2210 tv tuner card into my pc, doubt it would have anything to do with that though.

On the issue of getting it returned, should I contact EVGA or PLaytech (unfortunately I didn't buy from Computer Lounge :P)?

If purchased from Playtech, send to them - theyre pretty good and shouldnt stuff you around. If any problems, ask to speak to Paul there, hes the boss ;)
