cpu * intel i5-3570K 3.4GHz
ram * 8 GB ddr3 ram not sure of brand yet
motherboard * ASRock z77 Extreme4 lga1155

that is what im decided on so far can anyone recomend 2x video cards to run in crossfire mode in the around $250 range (each)

any other sugestions greatly appreceated

Id wait for the Nvidia 660's to be released.... but if you're not of the patient sort a 7770 is a decent grab at $210 each. Look at computerlounge.co.nz and playtech.co.nz they are the main sites I look at for stuff because they have the most professionally working sites and good prices, In my opinion.

If you are brave and smart look at pricespy.co.nz for the individual parts, keep in mind that even if a vender is cheap it may be made up in shipping costs; so always look for the shipping, GST and stock availability.
