Just a curious question here, how many of you that have Gmail come close to using the 10GB that Google provides? I have just over 4000 emails in my account and have only used 615MB

Given I have all my work emails going through a paid gmail account I'm up to around 7GB... although to be fair my limit is 25GB :)

I hated having to archive emails so having it all in one easily searchable place makes a lot of sense.

My gmail is only for personal use so currently 73 MB.

I can't ever see myself needing 10GB of space to store personal email.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?

Hi, I support a number of real estate agents on gmail (mainly because their company which is very large only supply them with lame Mdaemon email accounts), but many of these agents have cracked the 25G and pay for more.

Oh, and my personal one (or should I say household account we all use) 818Mbytes (4400 emails), we also dont delete alot which has saved our (read my) bacon a few times.

I've been using a personal gmail account since it was in Beta and have a massive 211MB! :)
I still have the very first email too.

11342 emails and 1,618 MB. It is a shared mailbox for my wife and myself though...

We don't delete anything other than spam.

I too signed up during the beta. Partly because it had such a large data limit I also signed up for a bunch of mailing lists at the time and they've been active ever since. So I'm now at 120000+ messages and close to 4GB :) No idea where I would be with just personal emails though I do have plenty of family\freinds who email through all the "joke" emails complete with videos\dodgy powerpoint attachments\etc so a fair bit of that 4GB might be them, heh

700MB here, I could probably delete a lot of large emails but gmail makes it difficult so I don't bother.

Hi, you can search on anything including if it has an attachement or not, but you cannot put a criteria about the attachment size, is that the issue?

Around 2,000 MB and 34,000 messages. Been with them since 2004, had to beg a mate for an invite back then! Absolutely love archiving, not sure what I would do without it!
