Is it just me or is putting multiple pictures in ms word like a multi age report unnecessarily complicated for the common user. I have read the list of what each text wrapping means before but do they expect you to remember that all the time? There should be an easier way to simply insert a picture into text. I am far from incompetent with computers but always get frustrated trying to put pictures into word. I usually just play around and find a text rapping that works they move of the page, text refuses to move, picutres disappear altogether etc.

I know part of the problem is me not looking into each form of text wrapping and how it works but why do they make it so complicated when all you want to do is insert a picture.

i normally just use the efault wrapping style - "in line with text".

The only time i would change it, is when i want test to wrap around the image where the image is static.

Its pretty basic really. What exactly are you trying to achieve by playing with the text wrapping options? Perhaps you are over-complicating the situation?

Frames or text boxes are the way to go. You can put the caption in there with the picture. Makes it so much easier moving pictures around or having more than one inline.

Turn on your anchors so you can see where the picture is attached to and things become a lot easier.
