Just got a new PSU in today. Took out my old one and put in the new.

Problem is as soon as I connect it to power and flick it on it starts trying to start up, or so that is what I think it is.
The keyword being "trying" cause it doesn't power up at all. It makes a sound like it is, the fan twitches and the lights on the Mobo flick on, all for a split second only. It just repeats this over and over.

I'm not sure it is the PSU cause its a replacement for my last one which was all of a sudden started flicking the breaker for whatever circuit it was in the house. This one hasn't flicked the breaker.

Any ideas?

PSU= Enermax Maxrevo 1350W
Mobo= ASROCK P67 Pro Fatal1ty

Edit!

Okay with everything disconnected and with just the PSU by itself still does the little blips of power and repeats

Got 24 pin power connector plugged in properly ? (Obvious but people sometimes do miss it :) )

Other thing (and hate to say it), is possibly cooked the mobo somehow when doing the swap over. Ive got a couple of motherboards here (old ones) that do similar thing, power comes on for a second then dies again, no matter what PSU I give them.

I considered it might be the mobo. But I disconnected the mobo and the PSU still does the same thing.

I remember when I first built this computer I put a cable in upside down and it wasn't starting, so I remembered to double check this time lol
