I've noticed over the last couple of days I'm unable to view lifehacker posts in chrome.
Or even the homepage of lifehacker.com apart from their logo and non-working sidebar widget..

Are you experiencing the same?

I thought I better check to be sure before alerting them.

No problems here.  Maybe clear your cookies?

No problems for me. Check that your ISP is not having international problems, and make sure you are using the correct DNS to avoid problem with CDN and proxies.

I thought it may be a greasemony scrip playing up bu no change after disabling them :(

I really hate it when I can't figure out why something is not working :(

I have been having the very same problem the last couple of days...in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer. Other links seem to be working for other sites, just not Lifehacker. Frustrating. I even restored an older disk image, and still have the problem.

Chrome is annoying when it stuffs up.

This is what I would do:
  1. Sync Chrome bookmarks etc with google.
  2. Uninstall Google Chrome
  3. Delete the Chrome files from the appdata folder. (C>Users>YourUser>AppData>Local>Google>Chrome)
  4. Reinstall Chrome
  5. Sync Chrome bookmarks with google.
When you remove chrome, it leaves the bookmarks and history etc. Sometimes this gets corrupted (Like it did to me). Tell me if you need help getting to App Data.
I am a bit of an expert in Chrome after my user data got corrupted.

I haven't seen a reply to this VERY important question. Are you folks using the DNS provided by your ISP or a third party DNS?

Working fine here, just read a story on Amazon's lesser-known services!
