Right, About a month ago I got infected with Text Enhance. Its soft ware that makes a link out of certain words on a web page and connects you to advertising. A window pops up when you hover over the world.
After searching the net I found Adblocker for firefox and that worked for about a month. Just today it has shown up again on TradeMe only so far. I updated adblocker but it made no difference.
Also not really a fan of blocking legit ads as I realize sites have to pay for them selves but if it means keeping this nuisance out then so be it.
This page I am using now has several links on it ( so now another site, not just TradeMe). The yellow box above this with the green ticks has a link. The word English on line three.
Any ideas on removing this would be greatly appreciated as it is doing my head in!

Installing AdBlock doesn't clean up your PC - it could even have other stuff lurking underneath. Scan with MalwareBytes, and run this scan as well

Just hiding the symptoms but not cleaning the PC is now the best option.

have down loaded the free MalwareBytes and run it. It found nothing.
What scan is it you suggest I run? Your link is the home page. Please be understanding if I'm appearing a bit slow on the uptake, I am certainly no computer wizz

Thanks. Have been there and tried it all.

Have just found that by right clicking one of the Text Enhance links an option from adblock plus lets me block text and image content. The link is still there but at least I don't get the annoying pop up window. Will just have to see how long it works for

Can you list what extensions you have installed in Firefox? We may be able to identify which is the malicious one from there.

Right may have got it. I had a dislike button for face book, which I've had for a while, but when I removed that I seem to have lost Text Enhance. Here's hoping

Facebook doesn't have "Dislike", only "Like".
