Hello everyone!

I have an issue...

I bought a new graphics card, a RADEON HD6450, so that I can have two monitors running off my PC at the same time. All is good, except that about a day after installation, the sound now gets played through the monitor (a Samsung 22" TV) instead of through my external speakers  that are plugged into the back of my PC.

I have connected the second monitor to the graphics card by way of a HDMI lead, so that it would work.

Any ideas how I can bypass the graphics card for the sound, so that it plays through my surround speakers like before?

Open Control Panel, Sound and change the default output device.

Hi there,

Well, I did that, but all that is showing is the Radeon card, not my speakers...

You won't see "speakers" you will see the device driving them. Switch the default to the other device and see how it goes.
