Have had my Thermaltake Element G case now for over three years and is starting to develop an issue with the front fan and the foam dust filter. Over the years it filter seems to have expanded and as a result I now have to semi remove the front cover from the case in order for the fan not to rub against the dust filter.

This weekend I noticed that the fan had actually stopped and I needed to actually fully remove the front cover from the case in order to allow operation of the fan.

Reading a few reviews to refresh my memory, it seems this dust filter is not user replaceable.
Does anyone have ideas/suggestions in order to fix my issue (note, I do not want to damage/destroy the case, or purchase a new case)

Cheers

No idea. You could try washing the filter if you can remove it. Otherwise contact through thermaltake.co.nz and see if you can buy parts. The assembly might be cheap if they still have them.

Failing that paste up some photos and you might get a few suggestions.
