Just seeing if anyone else has noticed a lot more spam (than usual) coming from @yahoo..... email addresses over the last 2 weeks?

The email addresses may be "@yahoo" but it doesn't mean it's coming from Yahoo! at all - email addresses are easily spoofed. You have to look at the mail headers to find out where those are really coming from.

I run mail for several domains that have been around for many years, and currently seeing very low levels of spam compared to a few years ago.

I have an Xtra account that I basically use for newsletters and unimportant information, no matter how many times I change the password I still have a spam bot using my account, pain in the ass.

How do you know? You get bounced messages?

If so then they are not accessing your account, only spoofing the email address, and there isn't anything you can do against that.

Actually sorry it's mostly replies to newsletters that I'm subscribed to so I get lots of messages that say 'sorry this email address is not checked, please use xyz email for contacting us)
