Hi Guys,

I have a customer who needs a document storage solution that meets the following requirements

a. works with mac and pc
b. has some sort of access control (ie private and share with other users)
c. can be accessed from anywhere (via cloud or VPN I guess)
d. and perhaps sync of some sort incase your offline (no cloud or VPN) - but this last spec is optional.

Thoughts?

Cheers

-Al

There is a skydrive Mac app. I have had a lot of trouble with it but I was trying to store iphoto libraries on it...

I used SkyDrive for a while, after using Mesh and its other predecessors. However, I had nothing but trouble with SkyDrive: downloading GB/day even when no files changed, files not syncronising, the desktop application crashing on opening (it just would not run on one PC at all), etc.

Therefore, I ditched SkyDrive and now use Cubby. It has one big advantage over SkyDrive (apart from the fact that it simply works): computers on the local network are syncronised locally rather than via the cloud. I also mirror the local folders to the cloud, as a form of offsite backup.
