Gidday,

Can anybody recommend a North Shore equivalent of Super Cheap Computers?

Warm regards

I lived in Takapuna for a couple of years and went to "E-Zone Computers", located on Lake Rd a door or two along from where Dick Smith Electornics is. I also found another one on Barrys Point Rd, just by Foodtown Supermarket called "Orange PCs" or "Orange Computers.

I'm used to dealing with Dragon PCs, Ascent or Tastech in terms of price vs quality, so I found the above to still be a good cut cheaper than 'standard' hardware suppliers.

I recommend C1 Shoppingmall. They're in East Tamaki, but they offer free shipping for orders over $500. I've dealt with Ascent (Wellington) before too, and found them to be very good, but price-wise C1 Shoppingmall is hard to beat.

Also, C1 Shopping have a better variety of products and are more well-stocked then Ascent, and they are one of the cheapest on PriceSpy. Unlike most retailers, they do not charge extra for credit card payments.
