It was for www.lockerhq.com
You know the old addage, the dentist with bad teeth.
Mechanic with beat up car.
Or the IT guy that falls victem to identity theft due to poor password management.
I am sure it has happened, somewhere.
After seeing their ad in a printed security related magazine "newzealandsecurity.co.nz" I did a little more background research on the subject.
Looked at the competition.
http://usb-password-managers-review.toptenreviews.com/
Their product stacked up well.
On to ordering.
Strike 1.
The order page is not secure(HTTPS)
I find it a little disappointing that a security related product has an unsecured order page.
While not the end of the world it does make a poor first impression.
Strike 2.
No contact information on the site.
Only the live chat.
Sure the chat might be good for troubleshooting but there might not be a 'paper' trail for future reference.
So I found an email at their parent company site, www.optimizerhq.com
and sent them what I thought.
Will see how they respond.
Am I being a little harsh?
