I have almost finished a PC build and have one little problem

I have a case here which has 4 connectors coming from the front panel for the mic and headphones.

The connectors are labelled as follows:

Connector 1:
Mic In (R)
GND

Connector 2:
Mic Pwr (L)

Connector 3:
Line Out FR
Line Out RR

Connector 4:
Line Out FL
Line Out RL

The motherboard connectors is as per picture

How should I be connecting them. Have tried a few different ways but the headphones don't work (yet work fine when connected to the rear motherboard port). I have also changed the BIOS front panel settings from HD to AC'97 as per handbook instructions

I am wondering if I should be splicing the 2 connectors from the case so each goes to one connector on the motherboard
If that is the case; should I be splicing RR and RL together, and likewise the other connector?

Nevermijnd; sorted it. Was reading a post on another forum which tipped me off. I forgot about the Realtek Audio Manager settings. Sure enough; there was one I had overlooked
