I'm looking for a completely 'blank' rackmount case to house the innards of an XBox 360-E (I guess 2U would be the most appropriate form factor, although I'm not sure whether I'll be putting the stripped PSU in with it or not).

Jaycar has some, but as usual the info and pictures are terrible, and it sounds like they're not as blank as I'm after. I want all panels completely blank, although I could probably put up with some ventilation slots (would rather make my own).

Does anyone know where I could acquire such a case?

Try searching for enclosure instead, and look at places that do ham radio and similar supplies, not computer places

The plastic jaycar ones are a bit crap IMO, I got a 3U one to put an amp into and it warped under the weight of a small light swichmode power supply and a couple of light class-d amplifier boards. Hate to think what would happen with an actual iron transformer in it.

Found one that fits the bill: http://nz.element14.com/schroff/20860-127/case-19-rack-2u-340mm/dp/1455927

Although it costs a little more than I was hoping (considering what the damned xbox is worth in the first place).

Ironically, it was listed as 'case' but I only found it after using 'enclosure' in the search phrase.

Not really, apart from the vents which would possibly end up being in the right places anyway, and potentially poor QC.

I guess 'country of origin: Germany' could be a double edged sword.
