Hi all.

Is it worth the money (from what I can tell, between $100 - $140 used, which is my budget) to upgrade from a Radeon 9550GE (which for some reason is registering as a 9600 in my system?) to 9800? And specifically, 9800 XT or Pro? It seems as if the XT is cheaper, yet the reviews I have read say that the XT outperforms the Pro.

Yes, I have Googled my little heart out, but there doesn't seem to be any good advice on this subject. Thanks in advance

Further to the above, how does the X1300 or the 6600GT stack up against the 9800?

My current system is:

CPU = 2.8 P4
Motherboard = Asus P4S533-MX (although looking at upgrading in near future to one that supports DDR2 and 8x AGP)
PCI-E / AGP = AGP
RAM = 1gb DDR333
PSU = 250w

I'm assuming that if I upgrade my card I'm also going to have to beef up my PSU as well?
