hey, i've been buying stuff off ascent (www.ascent.co.nz) for many years now and i've been wondering if there are any other online  computer stores that offer free shipping, good price and huge range of components like ascent? The one thing i don't like about ascent is that they dnt supply evga graphics cards... which is like zomfg lol.

Ascent is one of the best shops in New Zealand. If the problem is only one product, purchase it somewhere else, but do not discard Ascent entirely...

The way to really guage the quality of an online retailer is when something goes wrong with your purchase.  Ascent are very very good in that department.

That's right... I had Ascent replacing my 1TB external drive twice when it failed. The best thing was asking for a replacement on boxing day (I had the drive for nine months then) and getting the replacement before New Year. So, counting that the whole thing happened during holiday, it was great service.

I find Dragonpc.co.nz. they do do online stuff and ship it to you for free or at least for the moment. I find them extremly cheap and very good to deal with.
