Hiya,

I'm trying to find out who in NZ can get hold of the ASrock C2750D4I motherboard (Mini-ITX 8-core Atom based board).

Anyone know a retailer who is happy to order stuff in they don't normally carry ?

I haven't tried them in a few years, but I've had many issues with them in the past and friends have complained recently, that they were either faulty out of the box or turned faulty fairly quickly after the system went live.
Any particular reason you want an ASRock board? Otherwise, Pricespy is probably your best bet in terms of finding the nearest retailer with the best price.

There only seems to be two companies making boards with the Atom C2750 on board, ASRock and Supermicro ... the Supermicro one seems to only support ECC SODIMMs ($$$) so I was lookin g for the ASrock.

Want to build a baby ESXi machine for home, want low power as it'll be running 24/7 in the garage, don't need monster performance for VMs as I'm going to mainly run a FreeNAS VM (hence why I like the gazzilion SATA ports on the motherboard), a network monitoring VM, a couple of machines for virtual desktops and then have a bit of CPU/RAM for playpit around VMs.

According to the Asrock site, the NZ distributors are PBTech and Altech, neither of whom appear to carry that board, so basically not available in NZ, unless you want to pay them to custom import one for you, which will probably be a giant hassle.

Well Altech are useless as a company (ignored repeated requests from me for support on a product they are sole distributor/support centre for, the manufacturer in Taiwan also got narkey with them and sent me parts for free) so I'll see if PBtech can assist.

Not used YouPost before .. fees acceptable ? (can't go to the website on the work internet).

International postage is calculated as NZD$12.50 per parcel, plus NZD$4.75 per 500g. The minimum chargeable weight is 500g and is charged in 500g increments thereafter.

Also, it's YouShop; YouPost is a different service (something to do with paying bills).

Note that at US$349 you'll most likely have to pay GST too.

Youshop works fine. You might pay $30 - $50 depending on the size of the box it comes in - the weight shouldn't make any difference as it's quite light.
