Quick question - I'm a newbie to VESA, and I assumed VESA was a standard size - was I wrong?

Our dual monitor arms we ordered have a 75mm VESA mount - but our Dell monitors have turned up with a 100mm mount?

Is there a simple adapter I can buy (if yes, from where - in Wellington?) or should I ask our monitor arm supplier to swap out the 75mm for 100mm?

It strikes me as odd that the monitor arm doesn't have both 75mm and 100mm holes.  Perhaps try and return it.

If you didn't mind drilling some holes yourself, you could use this cheap wall bracket as an adapter (google part number LCD-WMB201)

Picture of those brackets here:

You would drill 75mm holes on the right bracket (the one supposed to attach to a wall) and attach it to your monitor arm with some small nuts and bolts.

This,
Talk to your supplier and tell them you need 100mm VESA, its quite likely that its just a different mount bracket and is an easy quick change over for them to do,

( If the monitor comes with 100mm holes its likely the monitor exceeds the weight for the 75mm standard, so best to use the right brackets)

Silly me, have just discovered blister packs from supplier with plastic extensions to increase from 75 to 100mm.

Plastic extensions?  Sounds a bit susfishious to me.

Have you got a link to an image or product info so we can have a look?

Here you go, small plastic sleeves that pull over. Seem to work well.
