Hi there
I have a LiteOn SATA dvd burner that reads some bought-from-the-shop movie dvds but doesnt read others. I have tried the dvds that it wont read in 2 other pcs and they play fine in them. Its not that the video programme wont play it, the disc is not being read at all. All the movies are the same region so does anyone have any ideas why some play and some dont?
Cheers

Do you have the latest firmware loaded? Could be a random bug...

You should also make sure that the unit is clean!

Some players are a lot more sensitive to even the smallest amounts of dust, or scratches.

If your unit is clean, then check for damaged disc's.

Thought I did have the latest drivers etc but obviously not. Downloaded newer firmware and now it seems to work fine.
Thanks.
