Hi All,

I finally found some time to look at my pcs in regards to the DST update.
I originally used TZEDIT and edited the Auckland, NZ timezone to reflect the new daylight savings date changes.
However this did not change the time on the changed date of Last Sunday of September at 2am (changing to 2am).

I've done a fresh install of windows XP home SP2 on another PC (needed to be done anyhow).  Tried once again,
and set the time to 1:59am on Sept 30th.  But the time did not change correctly to 3am a minute later.

I did a search and found the microsoft page and downloaded WindowsXP-KB933360-x86-ENU.exe which seems to be the patch,
however I get the error "Update Cannot be installed as a newer or same timezone update has already been installed on the system".

So I'm in a bit of a bind.  Oddly, TZEdit does not appear to work, and I cannot install this Microsoft patch.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
ZollyMonsta.

Thanks to centurianz for the help :)

Turned on 'Show Updates' under add/remove programs'.. did a reboot.. and launched the patch again. This time it installed with no error and testing the September and April rollovers all is working good. Seems other people have had this problem also.

Cheers,
ZollyMonsta
