Hello
I was wondering if it was possible to install 3 seperate 320gb SATA harddrives (so not in RAID) and then install XP on all 3 and then triple boot?
Cheers
Allan

Providing you have some sort of boot manager so you can decide which one to boot from each time, then yes you can.

Otherwise you will always be booting from one particular drive.

Sure is possible.

What are you trying to achieve though? - its possible you might be able to utilise some of the free virtualisation solutions around and not have to waste time booting between OSes...

I want to use it maybe for three different people who can use the resources of each harddrive for themselves. Meaning that they have their own storage space.

If ou install three copies of Windows XP you will need three licenses. Why not install one copy only and create three different users?

And with fast user switching you can switch users, well, uhhh, fast.

Hay
I know about fast user switching. And the licences are no problem.
I just am wondering really. More of a question than a practical...

Yes, completely possible. You will need to find a bootloader you are comfortable installing and configuring, but it sounds like using a sledgehammer to crack the top off your boiled egg...
