hey guys i made i bit of a bungle up i was planning on putting linux on my comp but i didnt have the rite disks anyway i set up the partition in partition magic and unset my windows partion from active and now i cant get it to boot any help would be great

There are some programs that you can burn to disk or floppy (yeah, whats a floppy?) That will let you do this. I can't recall any names though.

use "gparted livecd". google it, it's a freeware. download and burn onto a cd which you will use to boot and fix the problem
