As a way of background I upgraded my monitor recently and its native resolution is full HD (1920x1080). I use different PC's on the one monitor using a USB KVM.

Alas once I upgraded, I found my PC with HD 7480D which is on board with the ADM A4-5300 CPU cannot do that resolution over VGA, only DVI. That means I have to keep switching between DVI and VGA on the monitor to view the other PC's which gets tiring.

So I am looking for a cheap (no gaming required) video card that can do 1920x1080 over VGA. One of my older PC's has a GEForce 8400GS that can do it but that's a pretty old card and I am not sure can find one of those now.

Any ideas for a modern card that can do 1920x1080 over VGA and is cheap?

Thanks
