Hi guys.  So I have a fairly new custom PC with two GPU's installed.  One being my GeForce 970 and the other is a Intel 4600.  My issue is that the 4600 is set as the default GPU and I don't know how to change this.  I have looked up this issue and it seems to be fairly common, but there are a mixture of different remedies which all seem confusing to me...

Can anyone give me any insight on how to set my Geforce 970 as my default GPU?  I try to open the NVIDIA control panel but I get a message saying "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU".  Does this mean the 970 isn't connected to the motherboard?

Cheers guys.

If you have a look, you'll notice you have an expansion card lower down from the main group of inputs on the back of your PC.

Your screen is plugged into the on-board video, instead of the 970. If the port is in a cluster of lots of ports and is standing vertically, you're looking too high, basically. You want the horizontal ports down lower.

Disable the on board one in your bios settings.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
