Does anyone know who the lacal distro is for HP Home PC's?

Its not Ingram, and its not Exeed - they seem to just do business PC's.

Most of the consumer/retail model are distributed directly by HP and only available via large retailers, like Harvey Norman and DSE

Hmmm, can small resellers get an account with HP for those PC's, or is it an exclusive relationship with the big boys?

They are still distributed by Ingram, but they have different sales channels for some product types. So Harvey Norman etc can order HP home products, but might not be able to access the business range and vice versa. Basically you would have to do high volume to be able to access them. The same thing happens with other consumer productslike the Xbox360 etc.

Like people have already said here, only the big box retailers can get the home consumer range of HP desktops/notebooks.

However with some of those big box retailers you may be able to get a reseller account, your margins will be lower, but you will be able to sell HP.

My question is why do you want to?

The larger sellers like HN and DSE also work largly on rebates offered by HP and other people. So chances are you wont even be in the ball park price wise to start with.
